What We Do
Manage all aspects of setting up commercial bank accounts including establishing new accounts, maintenance, and administration of user access rights and configurations for multiple applications. Answer questions and provide guidance and information on multiple products to clients. Supports system testing activities and product team initiatives. Adhere to the highest standards of client service and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
This role is hybrid with two days per week (Tues/Weds) onsite in Santa Ana, CA.
What You'll Do
- Open new accounts, complete user setup, and access change requests in various applications for commercial banking clients. Clients can be complex in nature with large volume of transactions.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution on all outstanding issues related to commercial account operations.
- Assist with user access and account services audits to maintain security and quality standards.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to provide support and guidance to Commercial Clients/Prospects on product questions, account maintenance and service issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise on bank products, services, and systems to product team in support of new application implementations. May be a dedicated resource for a platform implementation.
- Perform user acceptance testing, data migration activities, and remediation of noted exceptions in support of new application implementations.
- Contribute to developing department processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor as needed.
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree/some college preferred in a relevant field such as business, finance, or accounting.
- Typically has 4-6 years’ directly related experience in a financial institution or commercial banking role, preferably with new accounts experience and familiarity with commercial banking products and services.
- Working knowledge of banking platform systems, preferably with new accounts experience and/or operations background.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally and confidently with senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking, high-volume environment and handle complex or difficult situations with tact and diplomacy, prioritize and follow up on tasks and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and analytical. Able to identify and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, and other relevant software applications.
- Working knowledge of legal requirements necessary to establish and maintain commercial accounts in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Experience using banking platform systems, such as Fiserv DNA, Salesforce, or similar systems.
- Understanding of treasury management products such as Payee Positive Pay, ACH Origination, and online banking and how they benefit commercial clients.
Pay Range: $23.00 - $31.00 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
