What you bring to the table
As our Senior Staff Accountant, you will be a strategic financial partner, responsible for driving timely and accurate reporting for one or more business units. With your keen analytical skills, you will provide meaningful insights and analysis to support critical business decisions. Your expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls will ensure the integrity of the general ledger, allowing you to proactively identify and address potential issues. What you’ll do as a Senior Staff Accountant
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and make recommendations to management
- Provide meaningful analytics and insights to support business decisions
- Reporting:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain financial data in the parent company's consolidation system
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist with budget and forecast preparation, analysis, and system integration
- Compliance and Control:
- Support annual audits by gathering documentation
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Propose process improvements and write ad-hoc reports
- Guide and mentor staff accountants
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 or more years of related experience
- Understanding of ERP systems
Preferred qualifications:
- CPA certification is a plus
- SAP experience is preferred
- Public accounting experience is preferred
