Position Summary
The
AR Staff Accountantposition will require a “hands-on” mentality to meet the needs of a fast-paced North American finance organization. The AR Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day and month-end close of the Accounts Receivable department.
Responsibilities
- Sending invoices and credit memos daily to customers
- Communication with customers, including collection of payments
- Prepare Intercompany invoicing to other Trend Micro entities
- Prepare routine accrual and reclassification entries
- Maintain journal entry related documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities including preparation of closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and post-closing reports
- Filing and Scanning documents
- Provide support for internal and external auditors
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of related Accounting/Accounts Receivable experience required.
- Basic understanding of accounting rules and practice.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Self starter, with ability to work independently and with a team with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Team player who can interact well with any level of management or employee.
- Proven ability to complete tasks with constrained deadlines.
