Controller
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience leading a large accounting operation
- Must be forward thinking and growth oriented
- Must be a leader who is both hands-on and strategic
- Needs to be a change agent who is “big picture” minded
- Experience with large teams and multiple locations
- Technology and process savvy
- Ability to create KPIs and transparency in numbers
- Must live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Mid-Tier ERP System Experience such as NetSuite, Great Plains/Dynamics, QuickBooks Enterprise, Epicor, etc
- High volume and accurate processing
Essential Functions
- Reports to the CFO
- Responsible for accounting departments of over 50 locations where financials are rolled up and consolidated
- Ready accounting department for scale up and achieving efficiencies
- Lead the monthly and quarterly close and reporting process
- Provide reporting of monthly financial performance metrics
- Assure all reporting requirements are met for management and regulatory agencies as required by law and in accordance with company policies
- Full cycle accounting with general ledger and sub-ledgers
- Make recommendations to management as to areas of improvement on the operating systems, and cost containing opportunities
- Provide financial insight and analytics that assist with strategic decisions in partnership with the CFO & VP of Operations
- Ensure accounting operations and controls are performed effectively and efficiently
