Sr Analyst, Credit Field Team (In-Office)
Job Summary:
The Sr. Analyst position for the Credit Field Team is responsible for analyzing credit metrics across Lowe’s DIY and Pro Credit products. This will include gauging the productivity and effectiveness of the Field Regional Credit Manager’s store walk visits and schedules. Furthermore, a critical component of success will be forward-thinking methodology to accurately schedule market visits to maximize credit results both from a consumer and pro perspective on a weekly/monthly basis. In addition, further analytics will be required as it pertains to maximizing credit promotions and competitive activity to include work with installed services. The analysis will include all aspects of credit results including new applications, credit sales & penetration, and application efficiency. Expectations will be to spend time in store when necessary to stay current with all credit processes both from an associate and customer perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes forward-thinking methodology to accurately schedule market visits to maximize credit results both from a consumer and pro perspective on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Conducts deep analysis of credit service data to build proactive recommendations for the Credit Field Team and Store Operations leadership to maximize credit promotions and competitive activity to include work with installed services.
- Ensures data analysis work includes all aspects of credit results including new credit applications, credit sales & penetration, and application efficiency.
- Analyzes local and territory performance trends using company reporting and ad-hoc analyses and partners with the divisional credit managers and regional credit managers to influence opportunities to mitigate risk and take advantage of market opportunities.
- Schedules store visits as time and store availability permits to stay current with all credit processes from a store associate and customer perspective.
- Maintains compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices.
- Escalates and reports control issues with urgency and transparency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Finance or related field
- 3-5 Years of Retail operations/sales/credit services experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 Years of Data analytics experience
- Proficiency in managing Salesforce along with mining Salesforce data
- 5-7 Years of combined experience in retail sales, credit services, or retail sales experience in lieu of degree and other experience requirements
- Data analysis skills, including drawing conclusions from data and building recommendations from the outcome of the data analysis, preferred
- Strong communication skills using digital and traditional communication channels
- Store experience and familiarity with consumer credit products preferred
