We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Senior Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. We are looking for someone with technical accounting research experience, and an expert in complex GAAP and SEC accounting issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits and provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Skills
- Proven working experience in technical accounting research, and an expert in complex GAAP and SEC accounting issues.
- 7+ years of practical accounting experience.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases. SAP and Power BI.
- Strong GAAP experience.
- Lease Accounting experience.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
