Senior Accountant Opportunity - Haverhill
An internationally recognised company in the Construction and Manufacturing sectors, based in Haverhill, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including billing, revenue recognition, payroll, accounts payable, and processing of payments.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitor variances, and deliver accurate monthly financial statements.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control over financial transactions and reports.
- Maintain compliance with local government reporting requirements and manage all tax-related filings and settlements.
- Ensure adherence to corporate business processes and accounting policies to maintain strong internal controls.
- Oversee the debtors' ledger, reconcile customer accounts, and monitor outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any disputes related to deliveries or payments.
- Work with external auditors and facilitate the annual audit process.
- Provide support for administrative and HR leadership on-site, including policy implementation and personnel management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognized accounting qualification (MAAT) or active ACCA/CIMA studies.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
