CarelonRx's Advanced Home Delivery and Specialty Pharmacy is looking to hire a Business Information Analyst, Pharmacy Quality. S/he will be responsible for performing data/statistical analysis and evaluation of CarelonRx pharmacy processes and initiatives, including gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data that is necessary for continuous improvement, quality of care, health outcomes, and performance/metric development and monitoring. Responsible for development of scorecards, dashboards, and benchmarking to evaluate criteria against quality standards. Provide clear and concise communication to explain analysis and provide summary reports. This position will work in a hybrid way one day a week from an Elevance Health corporate office location.
How you will make an impact:
Design and develop Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards (operational, strategic, quality, and analytical) depicting status of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other important business metrics to aid data driven quality decisions
Work with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements to meet quality needs
Translate quality requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from multiple internal and external data sources
Extract, analyze and summarize data from data systems to identify, analyze, and communicate trends
Enhance and create capabilities to analyze and report valid and reliable quality, safety, and performance data
Deploy a data management system to support the quality management program
Summarize and utilize data to identify and select quality focused measures
Create balanced scorecards and dashboards that align to CarelonRx quality management program strategic plans, projects, and accreditation activities
Collect and analyze data against benchmarks or set goals
Interpret and compare performance data, financial data, and operational data to support quality strategies
Create visual dashboards that support Quality Committee activities
Apply statistical analysis to determine process controls and variability
Interpret data to support decision making and promote change to advance quality and performance excellence
Create and run reports on Quality measures resulting in usable data to measure patient and associate behaviors and performance
Collect, aggregate, summarize performance and quality data on QA activities and QI projects/implementations/opportunities, including URAC quality measure development and reporting
Analyze data obtained through observation, testing, sampling, and interviews to determine whether it is consistent with established requirements for product performance, quality, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Develop quality-related data from production, service or process improvement activities and report these data using statistical techniques
Use data to forecast expected results, create goals/benchmarks, and measure actual results
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years data analysis or related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Highly preferred skills and experiences:
Bachelor's Degree in a financial, business, mathematical, or computer science related field
5+ years of experience in a data or statistical analyst role
3+ years of experience in healthcare field
Knowledge of Lean Tools and Methodology
Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient with data management programs (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience visualizing data in Power BI desktop
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts
Knowledge of DAX and Power Query
Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $72,720 to $130,896
