Reporting to the Director of Direct and Drop Shipping, the Direct Ship Analyst role is a key administrative supply chain role designed to support the end-to-end process of identifying and executing direct shipments from origin to customer. The person in this role should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and can identify problems and recommend/implement solutions.
You’ll Make a Difference By
- Collaborating with Sales to document customer specific direct ship strategies each season
- Managing daily, weekly, monthly reporting in Tableau to ensure customer strategies are working (Order Book Summary, OTIF, Open PO report)
- Working with Logistics teams to make sure systems are aligned to execute direct ship PO creation.
- Working with Sales / Account Analyst teams to develop account level direct ship strategies
- Partnering with Sales, AA, Planning, Procurement, Logistics teams to make sure customer’s direct ship orders are delivering per expectations
- Evaluating historical performance and track current execution to targets, order book analysis including but not limited to demand/supply planning and order conversion from DC to Direct Shipments.
- Tracking / tracing direct shipments from factory to customer delivery including coordinating last leg delivery details and working with Finance teams to confirm delivery and invoicing activities.
- Publication of monthly direct ship newsletter tracking performance to goals cross functionally
- Driving new direct ship customer setup including but not limited to VAS, EDI, carton labeling, packing and delivery instructions
- Point of contact for direct ship related project support
- Other duties as assigned
About You
- AA degree or above in business or a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations Management)
- 3-5 years of work experience in a retail or corporate supply chain environment working with multi-functional and cross-functional teams
- Able to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Process-oriented with solid time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work, with minimal supervision
- Ability to identify problems and define, recommend and implement solutions
- Strong quantitative skills. Ability to identify, gather, synthesize and interpret data from multiple sources, distill the correct conclusions, and create action steps
- Adept communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and influence internal/external stakeholders
- Well-organized, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strongly motivated with sense of urgency
- Intermediate MS Office suite and other analytical toolset (e.g. Tableau) skills. Knowledge of SAP AFS/S4, INFOR a plus

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
