This position is responsible for supporting the company’s warehouse and delivery systems. This role is responsible for production support as well as new functionality and continuous improvement related to warehouse and delivery systems.

Job Description
- Oversee day to day cycle count activity within the operation driving accuracy and timeliness of counts.
- Investigate inventory variances in both WMS and AS400 using transactional history, counting reports, and intake documents to determine accurate inventory levels and root cause of variances.
- Establish full circle processes and SOP’s for all things inventory related, monitoring activities against those processes including but not limited to credit processes, breakage and repack management, returns, and receiving
- Heavily involved in credit memo processing working closely with transportation and customer service departments to ensure coding compliance.
- Perform all cycle count approvals as well as any required WMS and AS400 adjustments were required and only when sufficient evidence has been put forward for those entries.
- Work closely with the warehouse team on warehouse floor optimization, slotting optimization, and project-based work.
- Closely monitor and work all items on the WMS balance report, keeping un-balanced items to a minimum (under 100), and managing cycle count prompts to investigate variances and rectify getting items in balance between both systems.
- Daily partnership with warehouse management to root cause inventory variance, drive process improvement within warehouse operations to improve inventory control.
- Drive overall Inventory Control process to drive acceptable Inventory Shrink (under budget)
- Utilize a variety of tools to include MS Excel and JBLC slotting tools to evaluate slotting locations.
- Use slotting strategies for all new product releases, to include limited releases, seasonal products, and historical sales patterns.
- Generate Moves List for items that require location changes based on sales and JBLC slotting tools.
Job requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Microsoft office proficiencies (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience using a WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently and to make sound decisions
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and experience operating a pallet jack and forklift equipment, a plus
