Senior Financial Analyst
Kenvue is currently recruiting for Senior Financial Analyst. This position reports into Finance Manager Consumer Health and is based at Markham, Ontario.

What Will You Do
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing outstanding business partnering, financial analysis, and business planning. The SFA will work directly with the Marketing Team to enable profitable growth for brands by understanding the drivers of revenue and marketing expenses and taking an active role in developing marketing tactics that align with the key strategic imperatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategic plans and forecasts for Johnson & Johnson’s brands, which includes working closely with the Marketing team as well as with the other functional areas to develop robust Gross Trade Sales, Brand managed expenses, and Selling General and Administration forecasts among others.
- Prepare financial analyses for new product launches and other marketing initiatives, including the application of return on investment and other financial hurdle criteria, as appropriate.
- Lead finance role in the planning and forecasting cycles including ROI analysis, Cost savings initiatives, and Budget management.
- Support Marketing teams by providing timely financial analyses and recommendations to facilitate business decisions.
- Prepare monthly reporting, analysis of budget vs. actual results, including identification of risks and offsets vs. budget.
- Establish necessary quarterly and year-end accruals with brand teams in compliance with JNJ Worldwide policies.
- Elevate the financial acumen of the marketing team by educating business partners on key financial concepts, policies and procedures (such as Purchase Orders, cost elements to use, brand Profit & Loss statements, etc).
- Ensure work is done with a strong compliance mindset, in line with SOX and J&J worldwide procedures requirements.
- Champion continuous process improvements including system updates and enhancements.

What we are looking for
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Finance role.
- Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA).
- Ability to present complex information and analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong strategic focus.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization including senior management.
- Proven time management skills and able to multi-task effectively.
Desired Qualifications
- Process design/improvement experience.
- Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience.
- Demonstrated track-record in influencing business partners with fact-based data and managing change through the use of strong communication skills (verbal, written) including presentations.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and application of technical accounting knowledge.
- Proven ability to work through ambiguity.
- Demonstrates leadership skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong Excel skills; SAP experience.

This role is a 12 month contract and has a possibility to be extended.
