Position Title and Summary
The FP&A Senior Analyst is responsible for partnering with the operations team and working together on the financials. This role is also responsible for monitoring the Capital expenditures process (Capex) as well as handling all CER requests.
Reports To
Director of Finance and Accounting
Responsibilities
- Performs monthly analysis of financial results and prepare management presentations, investigating variances from historical performance and against forecasts highlighting key business drivers.
- Generates daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly analytical information, visualizations and reports explaining financial and operational results and trends for individual divisions and as a Region.
- Works closely with the field and corporate accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Translates financial analysis into clear data-driven storylines and insights that will be shared with leadership.
- Manages the forecast processes including revenue, planning for spend, headcount, cost savings.
- Provides financial insights to aid in assessing risk and highlight opportunities to achieve the financial commitments; independently, be able to identify issues, and provide solutions.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial presentations for business reviews and other leadership meetings.
- Improving systems and processes to increase accuracy and/or efficiency.
- Prepares complex financial analysis reports and completes individual analytical projects when given abstract project guidelines.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Finance
- 2 to 5 years of work experience
- Experience with financial modeling
- Experience with budgeting
- Experience with P and L Analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with budgeting software
- Excellent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
