We are hiring an Accounting Specialist to join our team!
This position will involve a combination of reporting and forecasting activities as well as involvement in project work as our Company moves to implement new software applications.
• Preparation of monthly management reports; review data and research variances as needed.
• Participate in monthly forecast activities, with focus on balance sheet, cash flow and ancillary items.
• Participate in special projects as the need arises.
• Research impact of changes in accounting guidance. Continually review and evaluate information flows and transaction processing in assigned tasks. Recommend and implement process improvements that will improve effectiveness of controls and efficient work flows.
• Prepare and/or maintain ongoing documentation of current processes and procedures.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting systems
• Intermediate to advanced skills in spreadsheet tools
• Ability to research issues and solve problems through gathering and analysis of data

• Ability to provide guidance and assist other team members and/or other functional areas with problem resolution
Process Orientation
• Ability to create strong support documentation of functions and processes
• Ability to provide recommendations for process improvement
Communication
• Ability to interact with all levels of Manpower
• Ability to provide concise explanations of variances and observations
Qualifications
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; professional accountant certification beneficial
• Master’s Degree or CPA/CMA designation preferred but not required
Experience:
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft and HFM desirable
• Project management experience/strong organizational skills
This position is based in our Global Headquarters located in downtown Milwaukee. Employees can enjoy an onsite cafeteria, coffee shop and gym along with beautiful views of the Milwaukee river , Deer District, and historic downtown architecture .
