Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities, which includes:
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post required journal entries
- Review & reconcile all balance sheet accounts
- Prepare summary of significant events and budget variances
- Prepare supporting documentation for financial statements including balance sheet schedules and other reconciliations
- Work closely with independent auditors during annual financial statement audit, preparing schedules and invoices, providing explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data
- Posting of accounts to the General Ledger for:
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Receipts
- Accounts Payable
- Cash Disbursements
- Payroll
- Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material; update records as necessary
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, schools, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
- Provide support such as schedules, data, information, etc. for the annual budget process
Skills Required:
- Bank Reconciliations (2 years of experience required)
- Journal Entries (2 years of experience preferred)
- Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)
- General Ledger (2 years of experience required)
- General Accounting and Finance Skills (2 years of experience required)
