Job Description
BAE Systems Inc is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Bradley A4 Production Team.
Responsibilities:
- Serving as a full business partner to the program teams.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate program financial analysis for all programs within the assigned program area.
- Handle external/internal reporting, proposal support, leading program Estimates at Complete (EACs), managing cash flow, supporting quarterly business reviews, and leading the integrated business plan for assigned programs.
- Develop relationships as a full business partner with the program teams, support the business area strategy and provide financial data and analysis for decision-making.
- Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally.
- Developing financial forecasts and analyzing estimates at completion.
- Reporting & presenting financials to management.
- Working with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items.
- Developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities.
- Leading the coordination of team meetings and reviews.
- Complete proposal support through pricing basis of estimates, compiling cost volumes, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA); participating in fact-finding, statements of position, and negotiations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 4 years of experience OR equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel).
- Demonstrates problem solving and in-depth analytical skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, ProPricer.
- Experience with proposals.
- Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment.
- Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines.
- Understanding and knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies.
Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $71,600 - $121,700.
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
