DESCRIPTION
The Senior Manager, Strategic Pricing will support the B2B client facing pricing process and provide strategic pricing and support to client owners and business leaders, including preparing internal and external pricing presentations, cost analysis and other ad-hoc projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and manage the continued development of internal pricing tools, cost data, capturing & recording pricing changes.
- Develop pricing models and analyses to support strategic pricing initiatives, quoting activities, RFPs, Renewals and Whitespace opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations, legal, finance, business & client development for synchronization of pricing strategy & process.
- Provide accurate and timely pricing recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Utilize Salesforce for pricing analysis, deal scrutiny, documentation review, and impact assessment on profitability.
- Oversee Cost of Living Adjustment application, tracking, and management using Salesforce and internal reports.
- Analyze Closed/Won opportunities to evaluate deals against margin range thresholds.
- Support senior management and business owners with in-depth pricing analysis as requested.
- Prepare analysis and presentations supporting Business Development and Management.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Strategy or related field.
- Graduate Degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in pricing, strategy, client-facing business development and/or operations area.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
- Strong financial acumen, analytic and strategic skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce skills.
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
- Adept with all aspects of financial modelling.
- Experience in a consumer-packaged goods industry (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills both internal & external to clients.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
