BILLING SPECIALIST
The Billing Specialist will ensure smooth flow of the Service Center billing to the construction arm of McGough Construction. In this role, he/she will collaborate with construction accounting to achieve maximum billability of Equipment, tools, and consumables while minimizing waste between groups.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1 to 3 years billing experience in Accounting / Construction Industry.
- Knowledgeable of financial billing and customer invoicing processes and execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment where equipment fleet and operational decisions need to be made quickly, accurately, and efficiently to ensure downstream McGough Service Center and jobsite operations are successful.
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in general business administration or accounting or equivalent experience.
- Construction jobsite field experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly digital customer pre-billing and billing invoices from Rental Result for McGough’s accounting department to pass onto clients that show equipment and consumable charges per job number.
- Processes 3rd Party POs for jobsites.
- Sets up new job, AR, and AP accounts.
- Pulls data such as life of job and capping information for jobs as required.
- Directly interface with accounting to ensure smooth transition and full billing capability for the Service Center.
- Assist in physical count, rental rate pricing project, yearly inventory, and other duties as needed in collaboration with the Business Analyst.
Office and Travel:
Occasional travel to job sites may be required.

Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction job sites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
