This is an exempt, office-based position in Johnston, RI. Monday-Friday are required in-office days.
The Methods Analyst will analyze policy data and business processes and conduct processing audits for AFM & FM Lines according to protocols. Provide business support for our internal and operational staff's various systems/applications and workflow processes, conduct analysis and prepare reports, write/update procedures and guidelines, and document and communicate findings. This role will work with I.S. agile teams to participate in user acceptance testing, work through scenarios, etc., in preparation for implementing new systems and processes while ensuring encouraged outcomes and performance.
- These tasks will be carried out via review and validation of reinsurance, client arrangement, account/policy structure, policy terms & conditions, and system data for accuracy and compliance to corporate processing procedures and guidelines.
- The analyst will document recommendations found during audit reviews, identify trends or training needs, conduct solid analysis of data/results, and effectively communicate/present findings.
- They will field support calls and conduct trending of calls to identify and provide training opportunities as applicable.
- The analyst will assist in all areas of the Audit & Data Management Team, and assist co-workers with full workloads, including Entity Control, as vital, ensuring deliverable timelines are met.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of insurance experience or relatable business experience.
- College Degree preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are needed.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Knowledge of some or all processing systems, including but not limited to: Strategic Relationship System (SRS), Policy Document Management System (PDMS), Global Tracking System (GTS), Global Business System (GBS), Certificates Application, and Insurance Product Delivery is helpful.
- Seeking an enthusiastic, diligent individual with proven analytical skills.
- Must be a flexible, creative-logical problem solver, a multi-tasker able to work under aggressive timelines. Additionally, adopt change, work well independently and within a team, and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must shift focus quickly to optimally prioritize tasks appropriately.
- This role is an office-based corporate role.
- Some travel will be required.
Compensation, Grade, and Job Title will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and technical skillset.
