Tower Street Insurance is a highly reputable and fast-growing agency seeking a high-achieving, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our Agency, based in Dallas, Texas. Essential Functions:
- Direct Bill Commission Download – Assigning Items out of Suspense
- Reconcile Direct Bill Commissions to include Direct Bill Commission Import and Recording of Commissions
- Cash Receipts of Direct Bill Commission Payments
- Premium Payable Reconciliations with payments to carriers and brokers and recording disbursements in EPIC
- A/R billing/collection premiums and other receivables for loss control and HR Consulting
- Paying vendor payables
- Processing vendor payables disbursements in EPIC
- Recording cash receipts in EPIC for client premiums
- Have knowledge and ability of running various EPIC reports. Examples include but not limited to A/R report, Premium Payables Report, Book of Business reports, Producer Commission Reports, Production Reports, Policy reports to audit EPIC fields for accuracy.
- Experience with Applied Pay
- Ability to transact agency billed client invoices or correct as needed for Account Managers

- Ability to successfully adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years as an Accounting Specialist within an insurance agency environment
- Must have experience using EPIC agency management software for accounting transactions
- Applied Epic Agency Management System or similar insurance management system
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- College degree – preferred or related work experience
- Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
- Time Management Skills along with the ability to work in a team environment
