Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Business Analysis and Insights - eCommerce Asset Protection to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing orders, payments, and fraud within sams.com. You will manage a team of direct reports, so prior people management experience is strongly desired.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Conduct thorough review of orders, payments, and fraud activities on sams.com.
- Implement strategies to reduce financial impact, plan for seasonal volume, and meet P&L goals.
- Utilize strong data analysis skills to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
- Leverage your asset protection experience to safeguard our eCommerce operations.
- Utilize Excel and Tableau to run large queries and generate reports to share amongst teams and present to leadership.
- Work cross-functionally with internal partners to implement effective strategies and solutions.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and guardrails are being followed across the business.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, asset protection, and fraud within an eCommerce or big box retail setting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and perform mid-complex functions within the tool), SQL, and Tableau.
- Proven ability to run large queries and analyze complex data sets.
- Prior experience in people management and leading a team.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field, Project Management Certification, Six Sigma certification, Statistical Programming Language.
