To produce a master production plan for the month and to create a weekly production schedule which will meet our clients’ demand, using MS Excel. This includes using the forecast provided by the client, product availability, outstanding customer orders, and labor availability.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the internal and external customers to create a production schedule which will meet their demand.
- Expedite outstanding deliveries from vendors by informing the client we are short on product to meet the production schedule.
- Create a process plan to facilitate the most efficient method of producing the end product.
- Purchase consumables.
- Responsible for reporting of production volumes and efficiency metrics.
- Ensure all processes in the production area are safe and to the standards required of our client.
- Maintain accurate inventories for product used in the production process.
Skills and Specifications Required:- 2+ years relevant experience required.
- Proven Super User of Excel required.
- Must have proven expert abilities in MS Tools and product control, floor control, and inventory control software, such as SAP.
- Must understand the requirements and processes of a 3rd party logistics company.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
- Experienced with quickly distilling thousands of lines of data from multiple sources to determine capabilities.
- Must be able to change the daily/weekly/monthly build plan at a moment’s notice.
