Simmons Bank INTEGRATION SERVICES Business Analyst provides functional expertise necessary in the implementation and use of integration solutions throughout the bank. This position will be responsible for analyzing new requests and releases to determine their feasibility in integrating with current products and infrastructure. The Business Analyst works directly with Business Partners, Engineers, and extended IT team members to prepare specifications and interface requirements of software applications. The Business Analyst plays an integral role in software and core platform integration activities such as mapping, workflow design, scripting, enterprise service bus interaction, and software architecture. The Business Analyst would also assist in solving complex problems and preparing periodic reports related to software interface utilization, end-user activities, IT projects, and vendor interaction.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides continual functional support in the implementation of new releases and technologies.
- Assists with and develops security patterns as well as operational procedures for various areas of the business applications department.
- Work with business units to help design and create integration solutions.
- Participates in a leading role on IT-related projects as assigned by Senior and Executive Management.
- Maintains bank software control files and parameters.
- Maintains and develops reporting standards necessary for management to properly evaluate system performance and integration objectives.
- Provides business-focused, end-user support, researches issues, and participates on special projects.
- Ensures that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

- Working experience with Azure DevOps, Story Boarding, and Sprint facilitation.
- Excellent bi-directional communicator; from within our technical teams, and as a partner to our Business stakeholders.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.
- Ability to write routine reports, simple-to-business correspondence, and procedures.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial report and/or legal documents.
Education And/or Experience
- BS/BA Degree (four year) from an accredited university/college OR
- 3-5 yrs. of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, System Analyst or previous experience as an Engineer.
- Previous banking experience a plus.

- MS Office programs
- XML, SQL (SSRS), JavaScript, PowerShell, Web Services, XSLT, .Net
- Application support for service delivery channels
- Core Banking Platforms- Jack Henry, Fiserv, FIS, etc.
- Azure DevOps
- Smartsheet
- SharePoint Workflow or other electronic workflow interface expertise.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- None required, but PMI or similar a plus.
Other Qualifications (including Physical Requirements)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and planning skills with the ability to set priorities.
- Must possess excellent telephone and customer service skills.
- Must have awareness of mid-range or mainframe computer operating systems (preferably AS400); software and workflow design preferred.
- Must have microcomputer knowledge (use of database and Microsoft networking operating systems, documents, and spreadsheets.)
- General banking knowledge preferred.
