Summary:
Performs a variety of regular and recurring accounting functions, including but not limited to securing financial operations by performing daily reconciliations ensuring financials are reported timely and accurately. Responsible for addressing and resolving basic to advanced issues regarding invoices to fuel customers. Responsible for providing support to Supply & Trading, General Accounting (and related departments), internal & external audit and the tax departments. The AutoMatcher Senior Analyst/Accountant will also be required to be self-driven and willing to assist the team in order to meet common goals and deadlines. Another function will be providing assistance in resolving customer inquiries regarding billing of fuel invoices.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Provides customer service by responding to billing inquiries and concerns.
- Serves customers by maintaining philosophy of going above and beyond, supported by a value proposition that every situation will be handled in a timely manner.
- Represents Company interests with the highest standards of professionalism.
- Self-monitors and manages billing queues daily including unmatched BOLs, held invoices, manual billings, diversions, and Salesforce cases.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves billing delays or errors to prevent reoccurrence and handle new business in Rightangle.
- General ledger research.
- Prepares and parks journal entries for manual invoices or credits.
- Interfaces with multiple internal departments to resolve fuel billing matters timely and accurately.
- Prepare reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed.
- Performs other various duties as assigned.
Requirements:
To Perform This Job Successfully, An Individual Must Be Able To Perform Each Essential Duty Satisfactorily. The Requirements For This Position Are Listed Below:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- 2-8 years experience in accounting experience.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High-level excel skills.
- Detail Oriented.
Required Experience Is Commensurate With The Selected Job Level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience.
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience.
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 8+ years of relevant job related experience.
