Job Summary: Works directly with the Division Controller to prepare financial statements and other documents that conform to relevant principles of accounting and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of management reporting statements per management instructions. Ensure that internal control procedures are clear and sufficiently address risks for PVI Holdings companies as directed by management.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller to establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity and security of all financial systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
- Prepare, review and approve journal entries and general ledger reconciliations in an efficient and timely manner. Actively participates in other relevant periodic closing activities
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to take advantage of those opportunities
- Assist the Controller and Manager of FP&A with business analysis and special projects
- Perform walkthroughs of key business processes and ensure that documentation of those processes is kept up to date
- Develop and oversee the completion of internal audit procedures for key processes and risks
- Assist with preparation of PBC’s for audit
- Perform administrative management of Accounting and Finance systems and software as assigned
- Preparation and completion of tax returns and other tax obligations as needed
- Recruit, manage and develop staff accountant(s) as needed.
- Assist the Management Team and other senior PVI Holdings management with special projects as needed
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Audit, or Finance
- 2-6 years of related work experience. Public accounting and CPA preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel
