Local Government Reporting Administrative Assistant

Full Time

The Local Government Reporting Administrative Assistant manages engagement agreements, processes around 3,600 financial reports annually, and prepares documents for public issuance.

Financial Audit Services staff members audit state agencies and higher education according to the professional auditing standards adopted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the standards issued by the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

Addresses specific objectives regarding the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of programs, functions, and activities of state agencies.

Examine computer operations of state agencies, colleges, and universities, and evaluate data integrity and security.

Performs financial statement audits of state agencies, colleges, and universities; assesses stewardship of public officials and instills public confidence in our government.

Evaluates the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of programs, functions, and activities of state government.

Education Outreach Senior II is an outgoing individual who enjoys creating a variety of educational resources and is passionate about educating and training people on state and local government accounting, finance, operational, and compliance topics.
