This Tax Senior Manager position is within the U.S. Income Tax Compliance team.
The candidate should have a solid background in both federal and state tax compliance for large corporations. Strong analytical and accounting skills will also be important in this position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and filing of corporate and partnership returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Review tax returns and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare complex book/tax adjustments as needed.
- Utilize accounting and tax software to compile information for tax reporting.
- Support interplay between partnerships and corporations related to state filing groups, flow through of tax adjustments and apportionment.
- Collaborate with tax accounting team to support US tax provision.
- Contribute to process and technology improvements aimed at streamlining the compliance and reporting.
- Research tax issues, review legislative developments and evaluate the impact including tax reform.
- Work with tax planning and strategy on items impacting tax returns.
- Build collaborative working relationships across the organization.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry.
- Fortune 500 experience needed.
- Leading a team of Tax Compliance professionals.
Critical Skills
- Proficiency working with common accounting and income tax software, CorpTax expertise preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance processes, including consolidations, elections, and disclosures.
- Working tax accounting knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Big Four experience desired.
- Healthcare experience preferred.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position: $108,700 - $181,100
