As a National Solar Asset Manager at Public Storage, you'll enjoy a stable office-based environment with minimal travel. This role offers the perfect balance between professional growth and personal wellness. Join our team to optimize our National Solar Program and drive strategic initiatives.
What You'll Get:- Competitive Pay: $150,000 - $185,000 total compensation.

Your Impact:- Support the asset management and O&M needs of our growing solar portfolio, expected to exceed 1000 systems by 2025.
- Lead a team of Solar Operations Specialists and collaborate with Finance to establish operating plans.
- Define and manage the process of identifying and tracking performance issues and develop correction plans.
- Oversee the handover process from field construction, ensuring full visibility on the monitoring platform (LOCUS).
- Reconcile production data with underwriting assumptions and property contracts.
- Onboard new solar systems from acquisitions, redevelopments, and new construction projects.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize generation performance.
- Track and report financial performance and establish ongoing forecasts.
- Cultivate a high-performance team to support business scalability.
- Research and implement best practices and new technologies for monitoring and O&M.
- Coordinate with local Facilities Asset Managers to address property-level issues.
- Manage O&M agreements and recommend strategies based on market needs.
- Provide performance data for sustainability reporting and REC monetization.
- Participate in additional sustainability initiatives to drive company objectives.
Qualifications- 3+ years of solar asset management experience managing large portfolios.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team.
- Strong understanding of technical solar asset management.
- Strong finance skills, including budget development and large contract management.
- Experience in a corporate environment with a customer-centric attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Frequent travel may be required.
