Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations by:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and tax filings
- Performing account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Taking a leadership role within the Accounting department, mentoring team members
- Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Collaborating with management on monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Supporting external audits and ensuring adherence to reporting standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of Accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with sales and payroll tax filings
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or CPA/CMA certification
- Experience with multisite, multistate operations and ERP implementations
- Leadership experience, including mentorship and team development
- Familiarity with ASC 842 Lease Accounting and mergers and acquisitions
