Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for an Accounts Receivable Analyst with our client located in Chicago, IL. Our client is within the non-profit industry, and they are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team on a direct hire basis. This Accounts Receivable Analyst will be solely responsible for the AP and AR duties in the organization's real estate division, and report directly into the Chief Capital Assets Officer. The ideal Accounts Receivable Analyst will be able to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Administer the accounts payable/receivable process for the Real Estate Department and assigned properties.
- Generate and send monthly tenant rent statements including all applicable charges per lease (e.g., CAM, insurance, utilities).
- Process invoices for payment in AP-Advantage, including verifying correct entry and proper coding.
- Research, analyze, and directly resolve payment and vendor issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain an accurate, efficient filing system for all accounts payable/receivable documents and tracking of all expenses paid and rents received.
- Provide assistance in the annual budgeting process relating to departmental and property/project specific expenses.
- Responsible for processing construction payout requests from project inception to completion.
- Collaborate with Construction Managers to ensure construction disbursements/payouts are processed according to the organization's policies and contract terms.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in AP/AR.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
- Non-profit experience preferred.
- Lawson experience preferred.
