Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Business Analyst, to join the Business Technology Team.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
Position is located in Louisville, Kentucky. Only seeking local candidates. The position is not 100% remote and no relocation.
Position Overview
The Business Analyst is a vital member of the Business Technology and Transformation teams. Their role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders. The primary responsibilities will be to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that meet both business and technical objectives.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Work diligently to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications, including data flows, system interfaces, and integration points.
- Work in tandem with software developers, architects, and other technical teams to design innovative solutions that align with business goals and requirements. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and ensure that solutions meet quality standards and functional requirements. Perform rigorous testing and validation of solutions to identify and address any issues or defects.
- Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, technical design documents, user manuals, and training materials. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project requirements, priorities, and timelines. Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and issues. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through presentations, reports, and data visualizations. Interface with all levels of management.

Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on technical projects and solutions. Experience in software development, system integration, or IT consulting is highly desirable.
- Experience in Visio, Lucidchart or other diagramming software.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, systems, and processes. Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis and requirements elicitation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work products. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
