Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Analyst to support the SRD Division. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide full-time airworthiness support to SRD.
- Provide worldwide technical and engineering support for AH-64 aircraft.
- Specialize in drivetrain vibration monitoring, Teardown Analysis (TDA), Airworthiness Releases (AWR), and testing of dynamic components to include rotor smoothing and shaft balances.
- Provide analyst and engineering support for HUMS systems.
- Develop new coefficients and evaluate algorithms.
- Perform and review new blade development models for aerodynamic and dynamic improvements.
- Provide field testing and engineering evaluation support to SRD.
- Write test plans, collect test data, and evaluate test results.
- Conduct vibration environmental review I/A/W MIL STD 810 and DO160.
- Attend meetings and provide engineering guidance.
Required Experience:
- High school diploma and 19 years’ experience preferred.
- Acceptable alternative is Bachelor of Science and 9 years’ experience (PHD and 5 years’/ Masters and 7 years’/ Associates and 11 years’/ or HS and 13 years’).
- Familiar with US Army Helicopters with strong experience on the AH-64 platform.
- A&P or equivalent work experience including airframe, powerplant, and electrical.
- Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. US travel only.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with HUMS.
- Familiar with US Army Task Tracking System.
- Familiar with US Army documents and manuals.
