Our dynamic textile manufacturing client has become a premier solution for design, sourcing and product development, and is looking for an Interim Fixed Assets Accounting Manager to join their growing family business. As the Interim Fixed Assets Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in managing our client’s fixed asset accounting processes during a transitional period. Your responsibilities will include fixed asset management, capital expenditure analysis, month end close, financial reporting and process improvements. Enjoy a hybrid work schedule and compensation of $50-55/hour.
Interim Fixed Assets Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accurate recording and tracking of fixed assets, including machinery, equipment and property
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Analyze capital expenditure requests and provide financial insights
- Evaluate the impact of capital investments on financial statements
- Participate actively in the month-end closing process
- Prepare and post journal entries related to fixed assets
- Review fixed asset transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in generating financial reports related to fixed assets
- Identify opportunities to enhance fixed asset accounting processes
- Streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Interim Fixed Assets Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in fixed assets accounting, along with 3+ years of management experience
- Proficiency in accounting software, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management or Essbase, and Excel a must have
- Ability to design and implement complex reconciliations and general ledger reports
- Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
