MOO's diverse manufacturing team is composed of quality and process engineers, prepress specialists, manufacturing leads, technology engineers, and supply chain specialists. We span two geographies (US and UK) and are responsible for the delivery of premium print and hard good products to our customers. We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.
The Business Analyst role will give valuable insight and recommendations into the effectiveness of our operations.
In this position, you will become a subject matter expert in our global manufacturing and logistics processes. You will collaborate closely with the Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams. Utilizing your strong analytical skills, you will define problems, develop hypotheses, gather and analyze data, and offer data-driven recommendations. Your analyses will cover various aspects such as delivery speed & reliability, shipping costs, labor expenses, throughput times, scheduling efficiency, and customer feedback, among others. Your goal will be to uncover meaningful changes to our operations that result in better customer and company outcomes.
Responsibilities- Analyze & Report: Explore data to uncover insights, respond to ad-hoc analytic requests, and generate comprehensive reports on performance and trends.
- Drive Value: Identify and act on opportunities to drive value across the organization by enhancing tooling, optimizing processes, and solving business problems.
- Collaborate & Develop: Work with analysts, data engineers, and other key stakeholders to develop and co-create impactful data reports.
- Leverage Expertise: Apply best practices and methodologies to your work, becoming an expert in Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
- Consult & Advise: Serve as a data and insights consultant throughout the product development lifecycle, providing recommendations and supporting product teams.
- Build Relationships: Establish trust-based relationships and communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
- Mentor & Coach: Mentor manufacturing and product teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement while supporting the development of reporting and analytics tools.
- Share Knowledge: Collaborate with multiple sites and teams, sharing standard processes and best practices to drive consistent and effective data analysis.
- Maintain & configure various systems to support operations.
About You- Experience with data analytics and/or visualization tools (Domo, Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experienced in SQL.
- Analytical expertise: Strong ability to analyze data, find patterns, and perform exploratory and statistical analysis; capable of transforming business questions into actionable insights.
- Excellent communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present data insights to different audiences.
- Problem solver: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering clear, data-driven recommendations.
Nice to Haves- Technical skills: Python and JSON.
- Organizational skills: High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Intellectual curiosity: Wants to dig deeper into the data and gets motivated by uncovering more insights.
