Position: Financial Analyst SAP

Description
Overview:
Schwan’s Shared Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Schwan’s Company, seeks a Financial Analyst SAP in La Palma, California. This position, under direct or general supervision, is responsible for conducting and documenting somewhat complex financial analysis projects.
Responsibilities:
- Report, analyze and interpret financial and operating information for management, including trend analysis and budget versus actual.
- Identify and notify management of areas needing process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Create or assist with the monthly financial review presentation and management reporting.
- Assist with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.
- Review business unit financial statements and policies to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines.
- Compile and review forecasts and compare forecasts to actual reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related field.
Experience: At least five months of experience as an FP&A Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar financial analyst position involving financial analysis and forecasting for a food manufacturer and distributor in the food industry using the SAP Financial and Reporting system.
Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $71,635 to $94,000.
