Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a full time Accounting Manager at our central business office in Westerville, OH. Central Ohio Primary Care is a network of more than 80 practices and serves more than 400,000 patients. The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for revenue processes including the revenue budget, revenue recognition, revenue allocations, invoicing, accounts receivable, cash flow analysis, and cash balancing. This position manages the accounting staff responsible for month end close processes related to revenue including journal entry preparation, general ledger reconciliations, and analysis. The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring that financial records are prepared in compliance with financial policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Revenue Accounting Manager will interact with multiple departments across all levels of the organization.
POSITION(S) SUPERVISED:
Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily cash balancing process for more than 80 locations.
- Manage cash flow reporting process.
- Manage Accounts Receivable reserve calculations, AR reconciliations and AR aging reporting.
- Manage complex revenue allocation processes involving large amounts of data.
- Review and approve monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage preparation of the annual revenue budget and budget to actual fluctuation analysis.
- Prepare various internal and external financial reports.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Analyze current processes, offer recommendations for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Standardize process and procedures to continually improve financial processes.
- Collaborate with various department leaders providing insight into and resolution of accounting questions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Licensures & Certifications
- Required: BS in Accounting or Finance
- Required: 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years of management experience.
- Required: Health Care Experience
- Preferred: Experience with EPIC system
- Preferred: Certified Public Accountant
