WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
High visibility, critical role supporting the Cycle Count Program and Capex Portfolio Administration, while being the Internal and External Audit facing representative. The position plays a key role in making sure that the business unit achieves its Capex and Inventory related financial goals, while also leading core financial processes and providing visibility to progress and risk. The successful person in this role will drive performance, accountability and achievement of Divisional Capex and Cycle Count plans while ensuring compliance with all company policies.
- Lead the Cycle Count Program Administration. Provide weekly/monthly progress updates to the Plant and Divisional level leadership team identifying any potential risk.
- Project lead the Capital Portfolio expense request training, routing, progress to budget, timely capitalization and compliance with Corporate financial policy.
- Coordinate timely completion of all annual fixed assets.
- Coordinate the Outside Processing and Consignment Inventory Cycle Counts, associated reconciliation, reporting, and related Audit Meetings.
- Analyze Purchase Price Variance and Material Usage Variance drivers throughout the month and work towards timely resolution prior to fiscal closing.
- Be the Internal and External Audit Facing individual representing North America for Cycle Counts, Fixed Assets, Capex. Understand and own driving compliance and DOA Compliance in all policies related to Inventory, Capex, Fixed Assets, etc.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit or Operational Finance preferred.
- Previous experience in Cycle Count, Capex Administration or the Audit field strongly preferred.
- CPA/CMA is a plus.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
- Well organized and can prioritize multiple projects with opposing deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills that establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility.
- Ability to ensure corporate financial policy compliance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills & proficiency in WORD and PowerPoint.
