Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will partner with the Senior Director, Talent Success, to define business requirements for products, product enhancements, system integrations, and/or services specific to our learning platform and talent success program. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, which includes creating business requirement documentation, logical data and process flow designs, and quality assurance test plans to ensure successful integrations across our platforms and learning management system (LMS). This position collaborates with the Engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of the company’s learning program for our on-site venue team members.
Responsibilities
If you are a proven self-starter that has in-depth experience delivering successful project outcomes within an enterprise learning program, are technically oriented with vast LMS platform experience, and strong critical thinking skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, keep reading:
- Understand the entire Learning Management System (LMS) platform to oversee and successfully deploy requirements to achieve desired learning outcomes.
- Partner with teams across the organization to identify business needs and gather requirements to prepare quality design documents for integration(s) of the LMS with our internal systems.
- Create business requirement documentation for Engineering teams to execute against.
- Participate in the QA/testing process to ensure the intended outcome was achieved.
- Prepare metrics to assess end-user utilization and areas for improvement and status of learning program(s) against key milestones and goals.
- Contribute to design and project meetings to keep the project on track and report status back to leadership.
- Provide the Technical Writing team with necessary systems information and data for the development of product documentation (product specifications, user guides, online help, etc.).
- Identify opportunities for ongoing process improvements and end-user experiences enhancements to communicate to leadership for consideration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and deploy product enhancements to improve the venue team members' and corporate team members' experience.
- Identify the project's goals, objectives, and scope and create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required to execute a successful and engaging learning program.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment.
- Gather and analyze information from a diverse set of sources to fully understand the outcome desired.
Experience
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in a learning program organization, responsible for managing an LMS at an enterprise level with strong technical acumen.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator, focused on technical writing abilities.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Team player with the ability to translate highly technical information to business outcomes.
- Ability to manage numerous projects with strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated technical acuity and keen attention to detail.
- Passion for creating a positive experience for team members and guest experience.
