The Position:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager oversees all aspects of the Accounts Payable department, including inventory management, purchase cards, travel and expense processing.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices and expense reports, maintaining accurate records, and implementing process improvements
- Managing AP operations, including customer and vendor relations, disbursement activities, and tax-related matters across multiple ERP systems
- Managing accounting functions such as general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable, and project accounting, ensuring accuracy and timelines
- Developing and enforcing policies and procedures, overseeing monthly financial closing, providing accounting assistance to project managers, and serving as a liaison with external parties
- Playing a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the organization
- Completing all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, holding meetings, addressing performance issues, and approving payroll

Requirements:
- Healthcare AP experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven or more years of accounting experience
- Minimum three years Accounts Payable experience
- One or more years of leadership experience included
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
- Must have large ERP AP system experience, as well as 1099 filing experience
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, clients, and upper management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good presentation skills for educating internal clients on accounting principles
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
