Job Summary
This role will focus on driving loan production for Dunmor by assisting Senior Loan Officers with various sales activities. You will be armed with the most diverse and competitive product suite in the industry, and will have access to originating fix and flip, new construction, rental property, rental portfolio, and multifamily bridge loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Activities:
- Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to assist the Senior Loan Officer in sourcing new loans.
- Attend networking events such as trades shows, industry conferences and other association events. Maintain regular, scheduled contact with prospects and existing borrowers via calls, emails, in-person meetings and other means.
- Screen requests from potential applicants and/or brokers.
- Complete loan intake form and make preliminary pricing and loan structuring recommendations.
- Correspond with the Senior Loan Officer to evaluate and identify quality transactions, generate term sheets, issue applications, and manage client expectations.
- Work directly with Senior Loan Officer, Underwriting and Operations teams on loan/deal analysis, structuring, pricing, as well as data/document collection.
Sales Support Activities:
- Underwrite, analyze, and perform due diligence for new loans and prospective borrowers and package files for submission.
- Generate term sheets and issue loan application packages.
- Follow up with borrowers to collect documentation and underwriting conditions.
- Ensure loan pipeline is kept up to date and accurate.
Teamwork
- Collaborate with internal business partners to deliver a “white glove” customer experience.
- Work well independently and as part of a team, exercising appropriate level of authority commensurate with experience and responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in real estate, commercial lending, finance, or related field is preferred.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skill set and superior attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform financial calculations.
- Ability to structure the loans according to the customer’s needs and the bank’s underwriting guidelines.
Other:
- Requires the ability to exercise sound judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Some travel required.
