Lincoln Property Company is recruiting a senior level Regional Controller for its Property Management division to be in Dallas, TX.
The Corporate Controller will play an essential role in the establishment and execution of all aspects of accounting, reporting, systems configuration and overall processes relating to financial management and integration with all related departments and functions at Lincoln Property Company.
We are looking for a senior level accounting professional with commercial property management experience and a proven track record regarding essential duties with respect to accounting, financial management and related functions of a highly developed property management platform.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the organization's financial functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support for long-term planning, new program initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior executives, offering expertise on financial matters and business strategies.
- Enhance financial policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices and support organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on financial issues and challenges, driving improvements in budgeting processes and financial management.
- Oversee cash flow projections and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Evaluate and recommend financial strategies for potential business opportunities, including alliances, acquisitions, and mergers.
- Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of professional growth and efficiency.
- Lead knowledge transfer and transition of outsourced finance sub-processes including AP/AR/Closing/Reporting/FP&A and Property accounting related processes, including creation of documents that facilitate the transition.
Tactical Duties + Responsibilities:
Accounting
- Property Accounting
- Manage, direct, guide, train and hire property accounting team
- Take lead re assurance of product quality, accounting compliance, timeliness and best practices
- Lead optimization of processes and resources
- Liaise with Clients, PM staff, other stakeholders
- Review / approve financial work product
- Lead re problem solving
- Corporate Initiatives
- Lead re corporate initiatives (outsourcing, Oracle, etc.)
FP&A
- Corporate Accounting
- Admin budget(s): construct, maintain, monitor, report and take action to resolve issues
- Lead re responding working with HQ, Tax Department, Treasury Department on reporting, ad-hoc requests, audits and initiatives.
- Strategic Support
- On-going collaboration w/ executive leadership re account optimization and expense management
- Key role re financial analysis & modelling – new biz, restructures, etc.
- Key role w/ development of staffing models
- Key role w/ QBR, ad-hoc financial reports
- Key role re development of internal biz analytics, financial metrics, data management
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of ten years of financial and management experience, with a background as CFO, VP Finance, or Controller in a privately held company.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Experience on outsourcing transitions preferred.
Pay Range:
$150,000 - $175,000 USD
