ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is seeking a Business Analyst to support ongoing operations on a NASA HQ contract in the Washington, DC area. The individual will support multiple efforts, including developing presentations, assisting new staff, tracking deliverables, data entry, managing communications content, and coordinating logistics for a number of efforts.
Responsibilities
- Compile monthly deliverables and extract information from deliverables to draft into monthly presentations and status reviews.
- Occasional travel to NASA HQ in Washington, DC.
- Develop and maintain inventory/rosters for the contract. Update and maintain contact lists.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for onboarding of contract staff and checklists of potential staff needs based on location and position. Draft email communication to staff or create overviews of information to support regular activities.
- Request, collect, and store deliverables in online repositories. Organize files in a central website.
- Reserve meeting rooms as requested and print information for presentations as needed. Potentially assist with financial reports and data entry.
- Additional projects will involve compiling information, research, assisting in special projects, or other duties as assigned. The individual may have the opportunity to support NASA/Interagency meetings or events in the future, if interested.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the government or aerospace industry will be viewed favorably.
- Strong organization, grammatical, and editing skills are required.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products is critical, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using website applications to coordinate activities, store files, and enter data as needed. Experience with SharePoint and SAP Core Financial software is preferred.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Familiar with the annual government budget cycle and processes.
- Comfortable using SAP Core Financial software.
- The individual will be expected to learn general information about the major projects of the office and key terminology. A proactive and flexible demeanor is greatly preferred to successfully support this dynamic, high-profile office.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret issued government clearance.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of experience
Please note: This will be a hybrid position; however, residing in the Washington, DC metro area is necessary since there will be a need to meet with people and go to offices in the DC area (DC, MD, VA).
