Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a positive work environment of fairness and consistency in dealing with and engaging employees and business partners.
- Drive the culture and positive employee experience across client groups.
- Partner with HR centers of expertise and Leadership to assist in the development of leadership capabilities.
- Responsible for engaging in the timely well-documented interactive processes with employees in need of a reasonable accommodation.
- Propose revisions to internal documents, policies and communications to ensure compliance of all applicable laws and regulations.
- Responsible for interpreting and implementing established policies and procedures related to the interactive process, reasonable accommodation, return to work and fitness for duty program management.
- Partner with management and HR Leadership to identify resolutions and provide guidance to employee relations issues.
- Lead thorough workplace investigations that are well documented and impartial.
- Interpret HR policies and procedures to provide guidance to management across designated client groups.
- Support performance management and succession-planning initiatives by partnering, coaching and advising management on skill development opportunities for their employees.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping abreast of new legislation and legal updates.
- Provide support to ensure successful implementation and upkeep of affirmative action and diversity plans and programs.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to the management team on employment decisions.
- Represent the company at unemployment hearings for respective facilities.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Requires four-year College or university degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Certification: SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR certification preferred.
Experience: Requires a minimum of four years experience resolving complex employee relations issues and working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including performance management, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, leave of absence and workplace accommodations. Track record of successfully delivering HR solutions that drive results of business strategies.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Significant knowledge in employment law and HR practices with the ability to engage, inspire and influence people.
- In depth knowledge of Federal, and State leave related regulations, including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FEHA, and HIPPA.
- A high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinking, excellent verbal and written communication.
- Change management experience.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.
- Strong computer proficiency: Microsoft Office suite and experience with HR tools and information systems required (e.g. Workday, HR Acuity).
- Creative problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Able to work effectively across all levels in an organization.
- Ability to coach employees and management through complex issues.
Physical Requirements:
General office environment. Ability to sit and stand for long periods and travel between facilities. Supporting manufacturing may require working off hours to address issues in production, a 24-hour operation. Exposure to disagreeable elements is negligible. Requires exposure to manufacturing, warehouse environment and associated conditions.
Safety: The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others. The ability to wear all required PPE and follow cGMPs when entering manufacturing areas.

Annual Pay Range: $91,328.00 - $136,940.00
This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
