Disney Advertising Client Partnerships team is seeking a Vice President to lead the Streaming Solutions team. As a member of the Streaming Solutions group within Client Partnerships, you will join a dynamic team that is responsible for building best-in-class advertising solutions and proactive sponsorship opportunities for partners based on Hulu and Disney+ suite of content and ad products. We’re looking for someone who is interested in helping advertising partners drive ROI through opportunities that leverage Disney streaming platforms’ data insights, product capabilities, content library and marketing initiatives. Reporting into the SVP, Client Partnerships, the right person for this role is comfortable pairing storytelling skills with strategic thinking and is capable of speaking many languages, from sales and media to strategic development and technical capabilities.

This individual should also have experience in leading the strategic development and packaging media opportunities within Streaming and work closely with Forecasting Pricing to develop turn key, scalable opportunities with the ability to grow via marketing enhancements and customization. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Define the priorities & culture for the Streaming Solutions team
- Set strategic initiatives to achieve goals
- Lead strategic communications to teams and key Ad Sales Partners
- Decision-maker for larger GTM strategy of streaming opportunities holistically
- Lead the overall business of Streaming and help create its future state
- Architect Strategy for the development and execution of market-leading ad sales opportunities tied to Hulu and Disney+ brand initiatives, audience insights and ad product capabilities by effectively collaborating with and influencing multiple internal stakeholders across the broader TWDC organization
- Identify New Paths for Streaming Revenue including global
- Work with internal leadership to influence inclusion of ad sales in future opportunities, such as new content, marketing campaigns, and new ad products
- Guide the team in positioning and evangelizing how to best utilize our ad products in sales offerings, often to leadership
- Assure market-facing materials are clear, concise, and innovative
- Oversee the execution of sold campaigns tied to brand marketing initiatives across Disney’s entertainment streaming platforms (specifically Hulu and Disney+)
- Assess which streaming executions are best for merchandising both internally and externally with regards to PR and awards
- Partner with internal streaming leadership, including Marketing, Content, Biz Dev, Creative, and Sales counterparts such as Analytics, RYM, Addressable Sales, etc. to optimize available streaming opportunities in the marketplace
- Strategically recommend priorities to leadership for package development
- Accountable for revenue tracking and optimization needs
- Global consultation with partner teams across EMEA, LATAM and APAC
- Manage a team of direct reports including training, time prioritization, and management of output
- Oversee the allocation of team resources based on project needs
- Provide guidance to direct reports
- Create an inclusive culture where the team feels fulfilled and a key part of the success of Disney Ad Sales.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- 12+ years of experience in integrated marketing/media across a variety of industries from publisher, network, or agency, with a focus on Streaming required
- 5+ years Managerial experience
- Proven record of strategic and creative thinking paired with a research and data-driven mindset that informs insights for sponsorship development
- Expertise in sponsorships and media plan development, and experience supporting an ad sales organization with the ability to train others
- Ability to guide a team in creating crisp market-facing collateral and keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in analyzing data and insights to guide strategic decisions
- A holistic perspective of our industry, utilizing point of view of sales and internal marketing stakeholders, to best serve brand partners, our viewers, and revenue streams
- Background in linear and digital advertising, streaming experience required
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills, particularly to senior executive leadership
- A passion for guiding, nurturing and inspiring a team with the ability to provide support, training and career development
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $232,500 to $311,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
