As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.
As a Commercial Banking Implementations Consultant, you will be a strategic partner across the Implementation Services organization for new logo client implementations focusing on commercial banking and cash management functions. You will engage client stakeholders to analyze and develop business requirements that identify client needs and assist in translating business requirements to solution design. You will be customer-facing and bridge the key elements of customer needs with platform capabilities to create the ultimate online banking solution for Alkami customers.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Be a subject matter expert for clients implementing Alkami’s digital banking product set focusing on Commercial Banking/Cash Management
- Analyze client banking operations and map requirements to Alkami’s digital banking platform
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customers’ commercial banking operations as well as map and document requirements
- Create business requirement documentation to identify customer requirements and industry best practices
- Engage with cross-functional teams to identify and support the implementation of improved Delivery processes
- Advocate for clients’ business users across the platform and advise Product Management regarding business needs
- Communicate status updates and progress to leadership and internal stakeholders
- Understand the current Alkami platform offering, to identify and document functionality gaps
- Work closely with the Alkami Product Management team to prioritize and map clients’ commercial banking needs within the product roadmap
- Work as a liaison between Alkami customers and the Alkami Implementation Services teams, assisting with the translation between business requirements and solution configuration
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:
Required
- Domain expertise and extensive industry knowledge with a focus on commercial banking and cash management
- 7+ Years of experience implementing digital banking products in financial services
- 5+ Years of experience in commercial banking, treasury, or cash management
- Previous experience with business requirement documentation and gap analysis
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work independently with little supervision
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
- Desire and capability to partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects of high complexity
- Outstanding presentation skills and influence management skills
Preferred
- Previous training experience in treasury or cash management functions in the digital banking space
