About This Role:
The HR People Consultant helps ensure that each client’s human capital serves the best interests of the company. The consultant will work on a variety of HR tasks including but not limited to:
- Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
- Serving as internal consultants by analyzing a company’s current HR programs and recommending solutions
- Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring HR programs and services follow established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations
- Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects
- Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
- Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
- Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
- Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs
Basic & Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, business administration, or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of corporate or consultative HR exposure/experience required.
- Exposure and experience working in all facets of HR including but not limited to: recruiting/retention, culture development, learning & development, benefits & compensation management, and coaching at the jr/sr levels.
- Excellent computer skills including being proficient in MS Word/Excel/Access/Powerpoint is a must.
- Experience with benefits & compensation.
- An ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
