Job Summary
Provides technical leadership as well as functioning as a point person for the Investments Accounting – IT team and leverages SAP-FAM expertise to deliver IT support to business end users. Serve as a liaison between IT and business partners and provides the advanced technical expertise to ensure the quality of advancements within the IT system including understanding and developing business requirements. Translate business requirements into SAP-FAN functional requirements and process flows. Applies SAP – FAM configuration changes and communicate requirements to the development team including vendors and the extended support team. Plan and execute extensive testing and documentation to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions. Aflac’s infrastructure, systems and software solutions are of the highest quality and meet the desired functional, operational and security requirements; develops, maintains, and integrates application software, related project management activity, and production support; develops optimal relationships with internal and external clients, business analysts, and team members; continues to maintain and support software and key infrastructure after implementation.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates as either a project lead or work on other projects as a member of the team providing advanced technical expertise.
- Works on small, large complex and enterprise-wide projects that require the highest level of expertise; participates on project teams, systems and data analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement activities, as well as related maintenance and more complex production support.
- Provides direct SAP-FAM support services for Investment Accounting – IT team and business users throughout the investments team.
- Leads on SAP-FAM projects, initiatives and BAU support for all users.
- Leads design sessions with business partners to enable SAP-FAM solutions that allow for process improvements and efficiencies; this includes supporting the business end users.
- Communicates SAP-enabled concepts simply and effectively to a non-technical audience.
- Leads the delivery of functional requirements, use cases, interface specifications, process flows, risk and issue logs, test plans, training plans and production elevation & validation plans. Provides detailed estimates for the designing, building, testing and deployment phases of all work efforts and/or projects.
- Facilitates and ensures on-time completion of performance, load, functional and other categories of testing and application vulnerability testing efforts and resolution of issues; develops new cross-functional software systems using disciplined software development processes.
- Prepares and presents status updates for various projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Experience supporting Investment Accounting and other Investment professionals in IT capacity strongly welcomed.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience that has provided an understanding of organizational systems and capabilities, business operations and requirements, business modeling concepts and software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Investment Accounting System. SAP-FAM(TRM) is preferred. Other systems, such as PAM, CAMRA and Clearwater, is a plus.
- Good verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal/external customers; ability to maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards.

The range on this position is: $87,000 - $200,000.
This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
