Job Description

Part-time employed position, joining an established team of 3 Pediatricians, nurses and support staff

Responsible for a pediatric patient panel including annual wellness visits, acute care visits and assessing growth and development markers
8,000 visits annually within the department
Close working relationships with the Pediatric and Family Medicine physicians and associate providers. Actively participative with follow up visits from the Urgent Care setting.
Opportunities to be involved in medical staff committees
Participate in process improvement activities & directly impact care delivery
Modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including fully integrated EMR, Dragon, Dynamic Documentation (Oracle/Cerner)

Requirements:

Successful completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or equivalent
Maintenance of an active Minnesota Physician Assistant license
Current certification by the NCCPA
Current certification in PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire

OR

Successful completion of a Masters or Doctorate in Science degree in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
Maintenance of an active Minnesota APRN license
Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or equivalent
Current certification in PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire
