Greatness starts here - About the Orange Door
The Orange Door Partnership aims to address the needs of all Victorians who experience or use Family Violence as well as families who need support in relation to child wellbeing. The NEMA Orange Door is an integrated intake and assessment service that is the referral pathway to a range of services including Integrated Family Services, Specialist Women’s Family Violence Services, Men’s Behaviour Change and other services.
DPV practitioners within the NEMA Orange Door provide specialist family violence intake assessment and referral responses primarily to men using violence.
About the opportunity:
The Practitioner – Men’s Family Violence is a clinical position responsible for providing specialist family violence responses primarily to people who use violence. The position may also include providing specialist family violence responses to victim survivors and child wellbeing support depending on service needs.

DPV Health is looking for candidates with:
- Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Victoria Police Check
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- Hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Eligible for membership of AASW OR at least 5 years relevant experience and be working towards meeting recommendation 209 – social work degree
- Experience within the family violence sector including experience working with men using violence or other relevant experience that demonstrates capacity to undertake the role.
- A passion for integrated service delivery, service reform and improving outcomes for women, children and families.
The fine print
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, hold a valid WWCC.
- Closing date for applications will be 8th November 2024 or earlier if suitable candidates are found.
