Registered Nurse, Full time, 36-40 hrs./week, 12-hour shifts, Rotating schedule, Shifts Vary, Call required per ONA Contract
Non-Exempt, Hourly, Union
Benefited position the 1st of the month following the date of hire
Position Summary:
The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for nursing care of assigned patients, assessment of patient condition and needs, development of individualized plan of care and interventions, and both evaluation and documentation of care delivered. The RN provides clinical leadership/supervision and delegation to other staff/team members. The RN is to convey a professional and positive image of nursing, and of the hospital to the public.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification as soon as available after hire (for part or full-time positions).
Experience:
Experience at the level of staff nurse or nursing program clinical experience.
Job Knowledge:
Responsible to understand and capable of implementing duties within the scope of rules and regulations of the Oregon State Board of Nursing and the Nurse Practice Act.

Demonstrate positive and compassionate attitude toward patients and their families. Prioritize patient care and unit needs appropriately. Maintain open and effective communication with co-workers, physicians and management staff.
