Job Title: Product Manager, Synapse Enterprise Information Systems
Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly strategic Synapse Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) Product Manager to join our team, driving the evolution of our information systems offerings to meet the demands of the rapidly advancing enterprise medical imaging landscape.
Position Overview:
As the Synapse EIS Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our information systems strategy. Leveraging your expertise in Radiology Information Systems (RIS), life-cycle of patient care, financial operations, and business development, you will lead our overall EIS related go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
The scope of this position spans the Synapse Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) family of products which includes Synapse RIS (Radiology Information System), patient engagement suite, physician portal, Synapse Communications, other related modules or products, as well as developing and managing channel partner integrations. The Product Manager is responsible for assessing emerging developments of RIS/EIS trends and coordinating relevant departments (stakeholders) to execute the product plans and meet the plan’s objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Clinical Expertise: Possess in-depth, advanced knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, with expertise in core areas focused on the life-cycle of patient care, clinical workflows, referrer and patient experiences, business analytics, and third-party integrations.
- Technical Expertise: Effectively manage technically complex product line to achieve defined business objectives. Collaborate with engineering and solution architects to design and implement robust and scalable solutions. Provide guidance to implementations and service teams to leverage product offerings effectively.
- Product Management: Manage the near term and long-term product roadmap. Write product requirements for upcoming releases of the product based on advanced clinical experience and market needs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during the planning and development of software releases. Lead alliances with our key technology partners in the EIS space.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Responsible for managing product launches of new software releases. Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and deliver handoff materials, assisting in the development of marketing materials, including customer webinars. Work with Business Unit (BU) leaders to develop and maintain recommended pricing, invoicing, and service models. Create and deliver training on new product releases and offerings to Implementation, Service, and other related team members.
- Business Development: Research and propose new solutions that would improve HCUS product position in the market. Embrace continuous feedback and product input from our sales force, both direct and our channel partners. Work with customers and potential customers to gather feedback on how to improve and extend our offerings and solve customer problems. Perform competitive intelligence to ensure our products keep pace and stay ahead of the competition. Leverage business intelligence tools to analyze customer usage trends. Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making and service enhancements.
- Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Review and update RFP responses. Perform product demonstrations as needed. Deliver sales training on new product releases and offerings.
- Marketing Communications: Collaborate with product marketing on promotional plans, marketing collateral and other product-based communications that differentiate our products in the market. Author blogs on industry topics.
- Industry Activity: Collaborate with marketing managers on tradeshow plans and messaging and work with a cross-functional team to ensure product configuration and readiness. Attend trade shows as booth staff to engage with customers and prospects and provide product overviews and demonstrations during shows. Participate in industry relevant societies and activities, such as RBMA, SIIM, HIMSS, and RSNA.
- Other: Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years professional industry experience within the Medical Informatics market, ideally direct experience working in an outpatient imaging center group.
- Significant medical informatics experience as an Imaging Applications Director or Manager, RIS Administrator, or PACS Administrator with implementation, operation, and maintenance of imaging software applications work experience.
- Previous clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Radiology department lead, or Radiology Scheduling lead preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in customer facing interactions in the market.
- Previous software product management experience preferred.
- Previous RIS or clinical information systems experience preferred.
- Functional knowledge of DICOM and IHE preferred.

Travel:
This is a remote based position. Ability to travel to customer and prospect sites, sales meetings, FUJIFILM offices, as well as trade shows (up to 25%).
